My name is Bethany Schenk. My career was in insurance and technology. I started a healthcare tech company out of my home and took it all the way to Wall Street. However, my passion is art, music and above all else – people.

I had the privilege of decorating a new office for my company and went in search of bright, bold, inspirational art. Though I was able to find a few pieces online or in furniture stores that were, well, ok…… I struggled to find anything that really elicited that “YES!!!!” feeling. Here were my challenges:

• I looked for sets of 2,3 or 4 complimentary pieces, but would only find 1 piece that I liked. It was rare to find a “set” that matched but was clearly different.
• I searched for specific sizes for specific spaces – sometimes square and sometimes different size rectangles. It was hard to find something I liked in the right size and shape.
• Framing is expensive and plain posters look cheap. I wanted big, bold, beautiful AND affordable – but it needs to LOOK expensive and authentic.
• Original art by original artists costs thousands of dollars – it was out of the question.
• Finding the exact right colors and enough variety was also difficult. I don’t want every room to look the same, but I do need some degree of overall coordination.

My goal was to solve for all the above and create an art solution that provides unlimited colors, options, customization and personalization – all for an affordable price.
